The Seaport Group’s Convertible Bonds business traffics in all areas of the convertible debt market, including Convertible Bonds, Convertible Preferred, Mandatory Convertible Preferred and Private Placement Convertible Debt. We provide discrete expertise to more credit intensive convertible debt, working in partnership and concert with the firm’s Distressed and High Yield groups.

Jack Mascone

Convertible Bonds

Jack Mascone is the Head of Seaport’s Convertible Bond business. Before joining Seaport, Jack was Head of US Convertible Bonds for Bank of America. Prior to Bank of America Jack held senior level positions at JP Morgan and Merrill Lynch trading corporate and convertible bonds. Prior to his career in finance Jack was an officer in the US Navy. Jack holds an A.B. from Duke University.

Drew Doscher

Co-Head of Sales and Trading

Drew Doscher is the Co-Head of Sales and Trading at The Seaport Group. Prior to Seaport, Drew was Head of Distressed Debt Trading at Barclays Capital. At Barclays, Drew ran both sales and trading in concert with managing proprietary capital. Before Barclays, Drew founded and co-managed the UBS Global Distressed franchise. Prior to his experience at UBS, Drew was a Trader at Lehman Brothers where he was instrumental in building the firm into a top tier distressed trading desk. Drew holds a B.A. from College of the Holy Cross.

The Seaport Group Europe’s efforts encompass sales, trading, sourcing and research for European corporate and sovereign issuers. The firm actively brokers bonds, bank loans and trade claims across countries, credit ratings and positions in the capital structure. Coverage also includes origination and recapitalization solutions for European issuers. The Seaport Group Europe provides discrete and conflict-free market access and best available pricing with the least market movement. Our seamless integration assures focus of the firm’s entire US and European sales team.

Jay Conklin

European Fixed Income

Jay Conklin is the Head of European Fixed Income. He established The Seaport Group Europe LLP, Seaport’s European broker-dealer. Prior to joining Seaport, Jay was the Head of Credit Trading at HBK Capital Management. During his time at HBK, Jay was responsible for trading distressed, high yield, and investment grade bonds, loans, and credit derivatives. Jay also had primary responsibility for negotiating several large US and multi-jurisdictional restructurings. Jay holds a B.A. from the University of Texas in Business Honors and Finance.

The Seaport Group’s Global Insurance effort provides clients with access to industry-leading insurance, capital markets and structured products experience. The team’s singular focus is on the life asset market place. Established relationships with an extensive network of originators and brokers enables superior primary market sourcing. Coupled with broad secondary market contact and distribution, our integration approach including origination and pricing, structuring and financing, asset management, policy and portfolio sales and servicing delivers unmatched execution for our clients.

Todd Jorn

Global Insurance

Todd Jorn is the Head of Global Insurance at Seaport. Todd has over 20 years of experience in investment banking and asset management. Previously, Todd was the Co-Founder of Westbridge Services. His experience includes senior positions at The Provident-Group, PFI Capital and Lehman Brothers. Todd began his career with Citibank Capital Markets. Todd holds an A.B. in Economics and an A.B. in Public Policy from Duke University and an MBA in International Finance from Georgia State University.

High Yield

The Seaport Group’s dedicated High Yield team combines expertise in sales, trading and research with a broad network of institutional relationships. In addition to flow trading in the core high yield market, The Seaport Group’s High Yield effort specializes in cross over flows on both sides of credit spectrum; to and from High Grade, and to and from Distressed. Our High Yield platform is research oriented, with a focus on sectors including Health Care, Energy, Telecom, Metals, Chemicals and Autos.

Peter Wilson

High Yield

Peter Wilson is the Head of the High Yield Bond business. Before Seaport, Peter was a Senior Credit Portfolio Manager for KLS Diversified Asset Management. Prior to KLS Peter was Co-Head of the Global High Yield sales and trading business for UBS. Before UBS, Peter held similar positions for JPMorgan , BankAmerica and Bear Stearns. Peter holds a B.A. from Gettsyburg College.

The Seaport Group’s Investment Banking group provides capital solutions and insight to creative structuring across the entire balance sheet. We help companies to improve their capital raising and operational prospects by providing financial and structuring expertise and deep knowledge of operational and industry issues leveraging our research team. Gregory Bousquette

Investment Banking

Greg Bousquette is Co-Head of Investment Banking at Seaport. Prior to Seaport, Greg worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions Department at Morgan Stanley, in the High Yield Department in Drexel Burnham Lambert’s Beverly Hills office, and was Co-Head of Investment Banking at Libra Securities. Greg has an M.B.A. from Stanford University (Arjay Miller scholar), a law degree from Harvard Law School (cum laude) and a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan (summa cum laude). Greg has been working with the casino industry since 1985.
